2022 Doomben 10,000 Day: Eagle Farm Scratchings & Track Report – Racenet Tips

The Brisbane Winter Racing Carnival is going in full swing today, Saturday 14 May with doomben 10,000 days 2022 takes place at sister track eagle farmand below we have the latest scratching and track report for the former.

The Doomben 10,000 days meeting got the green light to switch from Doomben to Eagle Farm earlier this week, with heavy rain continuing in south east Queensland and the former track’s ability to better handle wet conditions.

The Brisbane weather forecast today is for sustained showers, but as the amount of predicted rainfall decreases during the afternoon, there should be no major reductions from the current Soft (6) Eagle Farm track rating

Racing Eagle Farm starts at 11:48am (AEST) and the nine race card ends at 4:38pm (AEST).

Four group status races are scheduled to start with race 3 at 12:58 PM (AEST) with the group 3 Handicap of the JRA chairman (2143m) for the potential Brisbane Cupbound gallopers.

Later the two year old JJ Atkins hopeful candidates take to the track in Race 5 at 2:08 PM (AEST) in Group 2 Spirit Of Boom Classic (1200m) – formerly the Champagne Classic

The 2022 Spirit Of Boom Classic Field running at capacity with the first two emergencies – Beau witness (19) and political debate (10) – both winning starts in the place of the withdrawn #2 Brereton (21) and #14 Tyresa (7).

Updated Spirit Of Boom Classic Opportunities have the undefeated Tony Gollan-trained capitalist foal Capital Tower if the easing favorite drawn barrier five with James Orman to ride.

the three year old Queensland Derby types can also be seen towards the end of the day in Race 7 at 3:22 PM (AEST) for the Group 3 raw custom plate (2143m).

Three runners are out of the 2022 Raw Habit Plate Field with: #4 Cape Breton (2), #5 Pinarello (14) and #6 caboche (18) all scratched.

The last Rough Habit Plate Bets markets are dominated by James CummingsQueensland Guineas winner Character ($2.90), while there has also been a tickle for Group 3 Frank Packer Plate winning filly from Sydney Verona ($5) from the Maher/Eustace stable.

The main event of the meeting is, of course, the Group 1 $1 million Dooms 10,000 (1200m) set to run as Race 8 at 4:02 PM (AEST).
